What to Expect
You have received an email invitation to PeerPilot, so what can you expect? PeerPilot is an online workshop platform where you and your designated team will collaborate to solve a challenge set by the host. The journey follows a structured, transparent process, with dedicated time for idea development, shortlisting and in-depth solution development, as outlined below.
PeerPilot will guide you and your team through the process, with built-in tutorials and notifications along the way. Focus on contributing your ideas and working with your team.
You do not need to stay logged in continuously. Check in regularly to contribute, respond to your team and complete your evaluations before each phase closes.
Approach the challenge as you would in real life, while remaining anonymous throughout. Engage actively in the dialogue; there is no single right answer, and the aim is to develop the best possible response to the challenge. Even if your idea isn't chosen by your team, you can still make a valuable contribution by helping develop the chosen idea into a practical solution.
Most importantly, learn from your peers and enjoy the experience.

The Assessment
You will remain anonymous throughout the workshop, and there are no predefined answers. The assessment is designed to reduce bias and focus on your contributions and engagement. PeerPilot evaluates every candidate across several categories, with the main areas of focus being:
Impact measures how your team responds to your contributions. Adding valuable input to the dialogue increases your positive influence.
Drive reflects how actively you participate throughout the assessment by taking initiative, contributing and following through on tasks. What matters is meaningful participation, not simply the time you spend on the platform or the number of contributions you make.
Collaboration reflects how you engage with your team: inspiring them, contributing ideas and solutions, and voting.
PeerPilot handles your data in accordance with local data protection regulations and best practices for protecting personal information. In Europe, PeerPilot processes data in line with the GDPR.

FAQ
You have received an invitation email to PeerPilot. Now what?
Before the assessment, you will receive an email containing general information and details of the exercise timetable.
We recommend testing your login in advance to avoid any issues on the day of the assessment. If you haven't received the invitation email, please check your spam or promotions folders; it may be labelled "updates" or "promotions." If you still can't find it, please contact support@peerpilot.com.
What devices can I use?
PeerPilot is a browser-based app available on computers, tablets or smartphones. However, using a larger screen and a keyboard provides the best experience and a clearer overview.
How can I make the most of the assessment?
PeerPilot facilitates a team exercise centred on a business challenge. Your success depends on how you engage with and contribute to the process. It's not just about generating the best ideas; it's also about helping to find the best solution and being a good collaborator or an engaged team member. There is no fixed amount of time a successful candidate should spend on PeerPilot, as relevant contributions and results matter most.
Problems logging in?
If you encounter any technical issues, such as a 'Login failed' message or a forgotten password, our support team is here to help. Click 'Forgot password' to reset your password. If you still have trouble logging in, please contact support@peerpilot.com.
How do I navigate during the assessment?
The assessment takes place in several stages. Each phase begins with a tutorial that explains the screen, your tasks and how you can contribute. You can replay the tutorial at any time by clicking the "?" in the upper-right corner.
You don't need to be logged on exactly when a new phase begins, nor do you need to stay logged in throughout the assessment. Instead, log in whenever you have something to contribute, read, rate or vote on.
That said, we recommend checking in at the start of each phase, and definitely towards the end, to ensure you can submit all your contributions before it closes. Don't hold back: you remain entirely anonymous throughout the assessment, and only the hiring company can access your information.

What happens after the assessment?
Once the team's conclusion has been announced, the assessment and PeerPilot's involvement will come to an end. The assessment data will then become accessible, and the recruiter will share details of the next steps.
