For Recruiters
Using a Realistic Setting
Using PeerPilot is like holding a blind audition in which candidates solve a relevant business case. For this reason, candidates often see the process as an opportunity to demonstrate their skills and insights, rather than being judged solely on grades or past experience. Depending on the business case selected, candidates' ideas and solutions can often prove valuable too.
Business case assessments are sometimes used later in the recruitment process, after rigorous shortlisting. PeerPilot's peer-based approach allows this step to be introduced much earlier, offering deeper insight into each candidate than a CV alone can provide.
A realistic business case can help recruiters and hiring managers agree early on which skills the role requires. This provides a clearer basis for aligning expectations between employer and employee.
PeerPilot can be easily adapted to screen candidates for most professional roles, with the complexity of the challenge tailored to their level of experience.

Structured Assessment Process
PeerPilot is easy to integrate into any recruitment process. The assessment is fully automated and simple to manage, with support available throughout. There are no technical requirements, and data is imported and exchanged using standard formats. All activities are managed through PeerPilot's dashboard, and every process can be monitored in real time.
The process can be completed in a few hours or a few days, depending on your requirements and geographical scope. Whether you have hundreds or dozens of candidates, PeerPilot provides insight into each candidate's performance, cognitive ability and drive, enabling you to sort, rank and select candidates with the right mix of soft and hard skills.
Once the workshop is complete, you can export reports for all candidates or individual participants and import them directly into an applicant tracking system (ATS).

How to Get Started
A PeerPilot screening generates a significant amount of unique candidate data, yet the setup process is simple, starting with a single question: what is a typical problem the new team member will need to solve? You can then select one of PeerPilot's ready-to-use business cases or customise your own, adding presentations, videos, documents and more. From there, you simply decide who to invite and set the screening timeframe.
PeerPilot provides end-to-end live support, from selecting the business case to interpreting the evaluation reports.
Setup requirements:
- Select or tailor a relevant business case.
- Select the screening timeframe and candidates.
- Analyse the results.
PeerPilot's adaptability means it can be used for virtually any role or scenario, with the complexity of the challenge tailored to the purpose.

Success Stories

Finding future managers for a leading technology company
KMD is a leading supplier of mission-critical software solutions and IT services to private- and public-sector clients across the Nordics. As one of the first companies to adopt PeerPilot for its graduate recruitment process, KMD has made PeerPilot an integral part of its recruitment strategy.
Each year, KMD invites candidates to apply to its graduate programme, a process that covers various job functions and involves hundreds of graduate candidates from across the Nordic region. KMD has developed a number of job-specific business cases tailored to each function, and PeerPilot's automated, autonomous process runs the individual business assessments simultaneously, allowing every candidate to perform, collaborate and be evaluated against their peers.
Using PeerPilot has saved the graduate programme significant resources in screening and assessing applicants, while giving candidates a level playing field. At the same time, the normative evaluation criteria applied have helped establish a clear threshold for the key skills KMD requires.
KMD summarises the experience: "PeerPilot provides a fantastic starting point for selecting the right candidates, alongside their work history. The platform is innovative and reflects current trends in gamification, which is part of why it has proven popular with candidates."

Bringing merit-based and inclusive selection to a global engineering company
Grundfos is a global leader in industrial pump solutions and a trendsetter in water technology. Grundfos develops products and solutions that help customers conserve natural resources and reduce climate impact, a mission driven by the passion and potential of its employees.
Grundfos initially adopted PeerPilot for internal assessments, before expanding its use to the recruitment of global talent for engineering, sales and project management roles. Working at Grundfos means working globally, so candidates are selected based on their qualifications rather than their location. PeerPilot has enabled Grundfos to evaluate applicants on individual performance, teamwork in cross-national teams, and innovative thinking, a skill PeerPilot is specifically designed to assess.
"PeerPilot has given Grundfos insights beyond a candidate's CV, enabling us to evaluate candidates' behaviour and performance. The simulated business environment provides the foundation for selecting the best-fit candidates and identifying Grundfos's future managers."
